Running a grassroots football club takes more than just passion. Behind every kick of the ball is a long list of day-to-day costs—many of which go unseen by most parents, players, and even coaches.

At Letchworth Garden City Eagles, we’re proud to provide high-quality, inclusive football for hundreds of children and young people across more than 40 teams. But we can’t do it alone.

⚽ What Sponsorship Really Supports

It’s easy to think of grassroots football as a couple of pitches and a set of cones—but the reality is far bigger. Your support helps cover:

• County ground pitch hire for training and matches
• Groundskeeping and pitch maintenance throughout the season
• Ongoing maintenance of clubhouse facilities – from plumbing to painting
• Football equipment – goals, nets, bibs, balls, cones, pumps, and more
• Kit and teamwear – so every player feels proud to represent their team
• Coaching qualifications and safeguarding training
• League fees, referees, and insurance
• Youth support funds – including help for players facing financial hardship
